One man was killed in a car crash in Newark on the early morning of Sunday, Aug. 4, authorities said.

The crash occurred at 96 Delancy St., a spokesman for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

An investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
